CHE Webcam North

****The Webcam has been temporarily moved to point high in the sky to the North-west inorder to attempt capturing photos of comet Neowise. Polaris should be in the upper right quadrant of the frame.

Webcam faces North at approximately 6700 ft. Photos are taken every 30 seconds during the day and 1 minute intervals at night. Selected photos are uploaded to this page every 10 minutes, 24/7. All of the photos are combined to form a time lapse movie at 1 hour intervals throughout the day. The ridgeline left of center lies 0.4 miles (2140 ft) from the camera. The North Star (Polaris) is visible near the center top of the frame. The rotation around the North Star can be seen in the time-lapse videos on a clear night
